"Almost" a Cover Girl
I was 'almost' a covergirl with the newest issue of Knit 'n Style magazine! Seeing my yarn featured on the front of the latest issue is a real thrill!
I actually am a subscriber to Knit 'n Style magazine, though truth be told, I have never made a one of the great patterns featured inside. I just can't find the time! (If you find the answer to that age old conundrum, let me know -- pronto!)
But boy - how exciting to see this terrific tie front knit top featured on the cover. That's my Serenity Garden yarn in "Gems" that's featured. It's a super silky yarn with a cotton-y feel that is totally machine washable -- and acrylic so no worries for those who are allergic.
It's been two years that we've had the Deborah Norville yarn on the market and the response has been great. Like any new endeavor, 'growing' a brand is not always easy. But slow and steady -- and having an excellent product seems to be winning the race! By the way, if you like what you see here, you can click over to the downloads section of the website and print out the pattern for free.
Then, I turn the new magazine over and there is another surprise! Me on the BACK! Hey -- that IS a cover, too, right? Actually, this is an ad that we've had prepared for a few months. That's also the Serenity Garden yarn, crocheted into a super comfy tie top.
Can you keep a secret? The first time I saw this on a crochet magazine in a store's magazine rack -- I turned all the magazines over so MY picture faced out! Wonder if they sold any more as a result???
