Dear Deborah,

My husband and I hated to see you leave the Today Show, and especially in the manner it happened. We never watch it anymore . We were thrilled to see you on MSNBC and just in the dark as to what happened to you there. I finally looked you up a few months ago, and found out your reasons for quitting.

We hope you will consider coming back soon. Your interviews are more meaningful than others'. You ask the questions we want asked instead of pandering as so many do. We wondered if you were constrained by MSNBC, and therefore quit. But whatever the reason you are gone, we wish you well, hope you will return as soon as you feel it is the right time, and know, that we, for two, will be happy and watching.

Nancy, thanks for looking me up and for understanding that I finally realized trying to do TWO full-time jobs AND raise three kids was a recipe for a nervous breakdown! The children have grown so fast. and already I sense my serious 'mommy time' is limited. They will be little only once. Hard news will always be there. it's nice to know if the opportunity ever presents to get back into the fray, you and your husband will be watching. And you're right - I refused to pander and I wouldn't let my guests shout. I guess that made Deborah Norville TONIGHT different!

Hi Deborah, It's Rich from Massachusetts e-mailing you again. I watch this show "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and the Zack and Cody kids look a little bit like you. It's a great show to watch. It comes on Friday at 8pm and 8:30 on the Disney channel. Maybe you and your kids could watch it together. You can go to www.disney.com and then type the Suite Life of Zack and Cody and then press the search button. You'll see the 2 kids that look a little bit like you. Keep up the great work.

We LOVE that show. my little girl WISHES we had a connection to Zack and Cody!

Deborah, I have been a fan since the Today Show and I watch Inside Edition every chance I get. You just get better all the time! Where do you get your clothes? You are by far one of the best-dressed women on TV.

Angela, Thank YOU! I was feeling pretty good when I read your email, then I got this next one from Sheila:

Sheila writes:

I don't usually do this, but after tonight's INSIDE EDITION, I had to make a comment. I don't know if you have to wear what's laid out for you or it's your choice, either way your wardrobe has changed in the last year and it's not for the best. I hope you take this as constructive. I don't mean it any other way.

Whew! Hey, you work on TV, you gotta take your lumps. Sheila, like Cinderella, I wear borrowed clothes a lot of the time. Unlike Cinderella, who got to keep it till midnight, my stuff goes straight back to the nice designers who let me borrow it. You see their names at the end of the show.

Unlike Cinderella, I do NOT have a Fairy Godmother, but I do have a stylist who selects things, but if you don't like what I wore, don't blame her! I'm the one who puts it on-so throw the eggs at me (just don't mess up the borrowed clothes!) My own choice would be my ragged jeans and tee shirts everyday, but that's pretty boring. Maybe we should do an "on-line" poll: vote for the 'look' you like best?!

Email me and let me know what you think. And if you've got a style you like, let me know. And you who writes all the time about "why don't I wear skirts more??" -- I know what your vote is!

Recently I spoke in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the opening of the Avera Behavioral Mental Health Center, at a beautiful kick-off party to inaugurate the facility. The hospital was founded years ago by the Benedictine and Presentation sisters, one of whom emailed me:
