The Today Show is known for some pretty spectacular road trips. Unfortunately, none of them happened on my watch!

We did report from the Delaware River Water Gap Park… this photo was taken during one of the brief breaks in an almost constant downpour!




And it was at TODAY that I became pregnant with my first child.

I am not sure why I am holding this bear, but if I'd been smart, I'd have used it to hide that enormous tummy!





After my son, Niki was born, I opted NOT to go back to TODAY. I didn't think I'd work in broadcasting again, but ABC Radio called and asked me to host a talk show from my home.

Cool! I thought - and it was a great experience.





It was also, I think, the time when my hair looked the best ever! I cut it short just before I started my radio duties.

(At NBC, I'd heard so much about my hair - I figured for the first time in my life, it was my hair to do what I wanted with!)
